Over the years Duif has grown rapidly and with that our responsibility to make a positive contribution to society also grows; we strive for a better world in which the carbon footprint is kept as small as possible. This is reflected in our various quality marks (BSCI & FSC) and our ecologically responsible product lines, such as our recycled glassware. We are constantly looking for improvements in our processes, products, transport, but also in packaging to spare the environment.

Our Eco glass

Duif has a beautiful collection of handcrafted eco glass made from 100% recycled glass. The charm of eco glass lies in its imperfection. It is made from existing glass jars and bottles that are re-used in the oven. Much less energy is needed for the production of eco glass because the glass melts at much lower temperatures. There will always be some tiny remnants, such as cork and paper from labels, but it has been produced in a sustainable way! No waste and also unique products!
